LEGO Art sets, build your favorite works of art

For those who love challenging LEGO kits, not only to have fun building but also to proudly display their home, a new surprise has arrived for you. LEGO has launched its wall sets that will give you the chance, for example, to recreate Andy Warhol’s famous 1967 screen print of Marilyn Monroe.

Launched today, LEGO Art allows you to transform a blank canvas using the famous bricks to create a piece that pays tribute to Warhol but also to the Beatles and iconic characters from the Marvel Universe and Star Wars.

“We know adults are always trying to destress after a day at work, and we thought, what better way to help them switch off than by encouraging them to explore their favourite passion in a new creative way?” says Louise Elizabeth Bontoft, senior design director at LEGO Group. “With these wider-ranging designs, we believe that we can inspire film fans, music lovers and art and design aficionados to immerse themselves in a world of art and creativity linked to their idols.”

This is the second 2D tile concept introduced by LEGO this year, after the launch of LEGO DOTS with Camille Walala in January. This was especially for children, now Art sets hopes to offer adults the chance to become creative, but also to help them relax and recharge their batteries.

Each set can also be revisited if you want a total change. All four sets come with a unique set feature tile that is “worthy of any true work of art”, and a new element to make them easy to hang and move.
