The best looks and outfits of Inauguration Day 2021

Yesterday, Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States of America and the inauguration ceremony was completely different from the usual: for example, the classic crowd that accompanies the presidential motorcade as it moves from Capitol Hill to Arlington National Cemetery and towards the White House was missing, everyone was (finally) wearing a mask and Washington really looked like a ghost town, armored and with a massive military presence, given the events of last January 6 with the assault on the Senate by supporters of the now-former President Trump.

A ceremony marked by inclusiveness and re-union, a marked change of direction from the past four years.
Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, prominent members of the Democratic party, the few invited guests and prominent guests gathered to celebrate this new administration.
Obviously, being one of the most important and most followed moments of the last years, everyone came with some style and therefore, we decided to put together the best looks and outfits of Inauguration Day 2021.

Dr. Jill Biden – The First Lady

The First Lady Jill Biden looks very elegant thanks to an aquamarine suit signed by the New York luxury brand Markarian

Barack and Michelle Obama

Classic dark suit for former President Barack Obama and a gorgeous and impeccable total burgundy look by designer Sergio Hudson for Michele.

The President of the United States of America – Joe Biden

He couldn’t afford to disfigure himself next to the elegance of his wife Jill and chose the most American of designers for the occasion. Joe Biden wore an essential but very elegant Ralph Lauren suit.

La Vicepresidente Kamala Harris

A radiant Kamala Harris swaddled in a purple suit by American designer Christopher John Rogers.

Nikolas Ajagu

Husband of Meena Harris, nephew of Vice President Kamala Harris stole the show for everyone. During the ceremony one image made every sneakerhead on the planet jump out of their seats, Nikolas was wearing a pair of Jordan 1 Retro High Dior. Level Pro.

Poet Amanda Gorman

Wonderful silhouette and colors for poet Amanda Gorman who wore a really gorgeous Prada suit. Amanda looked simply beautiful.

President Joe Biden’s grandchildren

A trio that stood out by choosing three very stylish one-color suits.

Lady Gaga

Her performance was truly incredible. The touching version of the American anthem sung by Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta really moved everyone. Lady Gaga wore a dress by Maison Schiaparelli that has also been the source of inspiration for several memes.

Bernie Sanders

We couldn’t close this list without including Vermont state senator and one of the most important representatives of the radical wing of the Democratic party Bernie Sanders. Sitting on a folding chair in an obviously cold pose with a windbreaker, dark suit, brown lace-up and…those gloves, the real protagonists of the photo that immediately became the meme of the moment. With white, black and brown diamonds – definitely out of context but Bernie is forgiven for this and more – they are made of recycled wool and were given to him two years ago by a schoolteacher in Vermont that, among other things, have accompanied Sanders throughout the election campaign.
