The London-based brand maharishi celebrates The Lunar Year of the OX with a limited-edition capsule collection dedicated to Andy Warhol, thanks also to the work done together with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

The inspiration is based on the screen print series “Cow” that the American artist made between 1966 and 1977 on the advice of pop art dealer Ivan Karp – to whom we owe the development of art galleries in SoHo, Manhattan in the ’60s – and the printer Gerard Malanga.
It was one of the first screen print series made by Warhol and the result was a series of brightly colored images of cows on equally crisp backgrounds, which were later printed on wallpaper.

The capsule collection includes hoodies and T-shirts in organic cotton and features the iconic print.

The Maharishi x Andy Warhol capsule is available for purchase now from the British brand’s webstore
