Martin Neuhof, born in 1984, is a German photographer and portrait artist based in Leipzig, Germany. Martin followed in the footsteps of his grandfather Friedrich Gahlbeck, a well-known German photographer of the last century, then worked to afford a camera and began experimenting with images.
His photography is clear and elegant, it focuses on the human face and delves into the interiority of the subject he captures. For Martin Neuhof, the face is a gateway to human emotions, an obstacle to be overcome and a barrier to be broken.

His photographic compositions manage to break down all appearances, they are creative shots that highlight the protagonist of the image and meanwhile strike the viewer, provoke him and activate something in his inner self.
