Massimo Osti Studio’s project is one of the most interesting to emerge recently. Presented at Paris Fashion Week, it’s a new brand that draws on the legacy of the Italian designer of the same name – founder of Stone Island and C.P. Company. Now it’s time for Chapter 02, in collaboration with Limonta | 1893, the industrial group specializing in weaving and textile finishing. The intention of this new chapter is to experiment with the jacquard technique. Let’s see how.

Massimo Osti releases Chapter 02

Chapter 02 in collaboration with Limonta | 1893 – experimenting with jacquard – aims to highlight a seamless structure. The technique employed is similar to that used in airbag production, with 3D pockets and details directly woven into the fabric. Hence the desire for a garment made by reducing the use of seams. The three-dimensional effect is also achieved through the garment dyeing process.

Partnering with Limonta | 1893

The collaboration with Limonta | 1893 remains central to the experimentation underway at Massimo Osti Studio. The textile company has 130 years of history and since 1893 has been a reference point for Italian and international luxury brands not only in the fashion sector but also in furnishings and automotive. The next Chapter in collaboration with Limonta | 1893 will be Fresco Wool Gum.

Where to find Chaper 02

The principle at the heart of Chapter 02 remains firm on the desire to combine aesthetic refinement with technical innovation that merges a craft spirit with an industrial structure. The protagonists include a work jacket, trousers, and a bag, all in green and gray. The collection is available starting yesterday, March 27, on massimoosti.com.
