Matthias Jung is a German artist and designer who composes his collages by setting unique architecture in isolated landscapes.
His buildings float on the sky of abandoned environments, on the outskirts of civilization.
They look like mirages on plains, glaciers and solitary sand expanses.
The details he chooses for his compositions are selected according to the feelings he wants to convey.
A more well-kept house, hidden among its tents transmits intimacy, while a ruined one provokes sadness, the idea of abandonment.
Jung has been working on these structures since 2014, here you will find a small selection but here are the endless others.
