With the Trailgrip Ultra SS27, Moncler redefines its iconic trail shoe around one precise goal: reducing weight without compromising performance. Developed with direct input from brand ambassador athletes and the outdoor community, these are the lightest Trailgrip the brand has ever made — and the most technical.

The construction reflects that ambition: a supercritical foam midsole delivers responsive cushioning, while a winged carbon fibre plate improves stability and energy return. The Vibram® Megagrip outsole with Litebase technology and Traction Lug configuration ensures grip on demanding terrain, with an extended toe cap for added protection. A Dyneema base, reinforced with seamless Clarino Tirrenina overlays, is finished with a GORE-TEX lining for waterproofing and reflective details for visibility in low-light conditions.

But SS27 doesn’t end with the Trailgrip Ultra. The FW26 season introduces a range of new models that expand Moncler’s footwear vision in different directions. The Citytrek applies the same functional logic to an urban context, with a brushed suede upper, Cordura mesh inserts and a leather collar, set on a performance midsole and Vibram® natural rubber outsole.

On the FW26 collaborations front, four new projects deepen the dialogue between outdoor functionality and external expertise. The Trailgrip Clarks Wallabee GTX reinterprets the iconic moccasin silhouette with a Vibram® outsole and GORE-TEX lining. Rick Owens contributes the Trailgrip Megalace boot, featuring overlapping curved panels, a padded collar and a new rear heel lacing system. Moon Boot x Moncler Grenoble presents the Icon High Rodeo, created for the Aspen show: a snow boot with cowboy boot aesthetics, in suede with nubuck inserts and embroidered details. Finally, a preview of the new collaboration with Fragment Design by Hiroshi Fujiwara offers a minimalist take on the Trailgrip Clarks Wallabee GTX and the Altive Mid Boot, ahead of a full launch with a ready-to-wear collection planned for August.
