The Dorothy Circus Gallery has always hosted and presented artists and works related to strong socio-cultural issues and with the next exhibition in the program, it confirms to be at the forefront when it comes to stimulating collective consciousness.
From 13 April to 9 June, both the London and Rome offices will host Mother and Child, a collective exhibition that aims to address the theme of women in all its meanings, from the role of women in society to that of motherhood, arriving to conceive it as a generating force. This exhibition follows a common thread through centuries of art history, in which female iconography has always found a role, both in sacred and profane art.
It will be a journey through different currents and forms of art, from New Figurative Art to Urban Art, from Pop Surrealism to Asian Art, and it will be interesting to see how each participant will decline the main theme.
