The duo composed of cartoonist Michele Pasta and screenwriter Gianmarco Orlando has created a story to reflect on the role of man within nature, the need to adapt and how we did it the wrong way.
“Necessario” is an illustrated story in five pages, in which the vignettes create a cruel irony, separating natural landscapes to signs of brutal industrialization carried out by man regardless. A tale to explain how we have lost the measure of things and priorities with respect to what we think we need to live.
Pasta and Orlando call it “the sense of the Necessary” and look at our way through the eyes of a rider, emblem of the urgency to have everything immediately and guaranteed.
