Nicholas Mottola Jacobsen is one of our favourite Visual Artist because of his unconditional skill in mixing objects and icons from the internet visual imagery with an always very elegant and balanced style.

In 2014 we interviewed him and he told us that besides being an art director, he played piano, sinth and guitar in I Cieli di Baghdad band. But he never sang.

A few days ago Nicholas launched his new solo project. The name of this project is a tribute to the ex French midfielder Christian Karembeu. On the field with his national team, Karembeu never sang the national anthem, remanding that two of his uncles were exhibited in a human zoo at the Paris Colonial Exhibition in 1931. But this is another bad story.

In this new project Nicholas Mottola Jacobsen plays and sings in a very good way.

We asked him to create the 20th selection of Vinilica and he made these 24 tracks: 12 international and 12 Italian including his first single Just Eat.
