The Nike Air Max 95 City Pack traces thirty years of street culture

Thirty years after its debut, the Nike Air Max 95 becomes the starting point for City Pack, a capsule of footwear and apparel celebrating the silhouette’s cultural impact through the communities that, over time, turned it into a global symbol. Not a nostalgia play, but a contemporary extension that looks to cities as creative engines—spaces for exchange and constant experimentation.

City Pack is built on the idea that style is never isolated, but the product of an ecosystem made up of people, streets, habits, and micro-cultures. Each colorway is inspired by a different city and the so-called intrepid athletes who inhabit it—hybrid figures moving between sport, creativity, and the daily hustle. From Paris to Hong Kong, from Baltimore to Seoul, the Air Max 95 takes on new meanings while staying true to its technical and visual DNA.

The Atelier version looks to Paris and the new collectives redefining the idea of creative space, between shared studios and “third spaces” where work and personal research overlap. The upper plays with a neutral gradient that fades into the black midsole, echoing a clean aesthetic loaded with layers—much like today’s contemporary Parisian scene.

With the “Hong Kong” colorway, the pace picks up. The upper’s red tones evoke the city’s neon glow, while the mix of textures speaks to a culture that absorbs different influences and remixes them non-stop. It’s a tribute to nighttime energy and the constant friction of ideas that makes Hong Kong one of the most vibrant places in the global urban landscape.

“I-95” is perhaps the roughest of the pack: a tribute to the bike-life community that rides along the I-95 highway and through the streets of Baltimore. A total black upper, metallic eyelets, and an attitude that speaks to belonging, resilience, and collective strength. Here, the Air Max 95 becomes a tool more than an object—an integral part of a culture that lives the asphalt every day.

Closing the circle is “Seongsu”, dedicated to Seoul’s creative district identified by its subway station number, 211. A constantly evolving area where former industrial spaces become cultural hubs. The sneaker pairs an expressive grey upper with black details and red laces, putting past and future, tradition and innovation into conversation.

Alongside the sneakers, City Pack also includes a selection of apparel that reworks classic sportswear staples for today, paired with bolder pieces inspired by motorsport and gaming culture. In short, a wardrobe designed for those who treat the city as an everyday playground—somewhere performance and style meet.

The Nike Air Max 95 City Pack collection will be available starting February 7 on SNKRS and at select Nike partner retailers.
