After Nik Bentel Studio already created our dream bag (with wheels), the studio is back to surprise us again—this time with a mixer and a speaker you can carry on your shoulder. It’s called The Tati Fête Bag: Speaker + Mixer, and the project turns the handbag into a wearable sound device to play, perform, and show off. These two limited-edition pieces aren’t just accessories—they’re functioning electronic devices inspired by New York’s DJ scene and the culture of portable street music.

The Speaker Bag is a wearable boombox with built-in Bluetooth, designed to turn any walk into a personal soundtrack. The Mixer Bag, on the other hand, is a fully functional four-channel audio mixer, made for spontaneous performances and impromptu collaborations. Both bags are crafted from translucent acrylic with exposed electronics, screws, wires, and buttons, echoing the retro-tech aesthetic of vintage gadgets and DIY synthesizers.

Each piece is handcrafted in Nik Bentel’s New York studio, combining meticulous attention to detail with a playful, performative approach to design. The final result is something between a rave gadget and wearable sound armor—just as shown in the campaign photos featuring artist Swordes, who wears these objects like futuristic tools for post-party survival.
