More than a line, ACG has always been—since the 1990s—an extension of the Nike universe, able to speak the language of the outdoors without betraying its authenticity. Today, Nike ACG once again proves itself to be a project that, through functionality, consistently develops a highly recognizable style. Early campaigns didn’t frame products through the brand’s typical athletic heroism, but through hostile landscapes, earthy tones, technical layering, and a narrative that placed humans in direct dialogue with the elements. All Conditions wasn’t a slogan, but a mission: to be ready for anything, anywhere.

Over the years, this same approach has built a remarkably solid visual identity, made up of garments designed for real-world use and a stripped-back, almost documentary-style communication. ACG has never spoken about performance in abstract terms, but about concrete experiences: muddy trails, cold, wind, elevation changes, fatigue. A vision that now returns to the forefront with the brand’s reintroduction as a platform dedicated to outdoor performance, with a clear focus on trail running, hiking, and exploration, and with the ambition of leading a new phase of technical innovation for outdoor athletes.

It is from this legacy that All Conditions Express was born—an experience we took part in by boarding a historic Italian train transformed into a traveling base camp, heading toward the unspoiled nature of the Orobic Alps. An idea that perfectly reflects ACG’s DNA, where the journey matters just as much as the destination, and where we rediscovered a genuine connection with nature.

On board the branded train, every detail was conceived as an extension of the ACG system. The carriages became functional spaces: compartments with custom-designed seating and technical kits tailored to different conditions; a bar carriage inspired by Alpine lodges as a place for gathering and decompression; and a gear lab that turned into a space for discussion, workshops, and material storytelling. Here, technology is not showcased, but explained, touched, and lived— with particular attention to solutions like Lava Loft and Ultrafly, emblems of the brand’s new direction.

At the heart of the experience, however, lies the encounter between people and territory. Throughout the journey, All Conditions Express connects participants with the All Conditions Racing Department—including Drew Holmen, Caleb Olson, Daniela Oemus, Cesare Maestri, Baptiste Coatantiec, Bailey Kowalczyk, and Ross Bollon—as well as with local guides who lead trail runs and hikes designed to read the landscape rather than dominate it. An approach that reinforces how, for ACG, performance is not based solely on speed or endurance, but also on the importance of physical and mental awareness.

Symbolically kicking off the first departing group were also two figures who, despite coming from different worlds, embody the idea of discipline and adaptation: Jannik Sinner and Bebe Vio. Their presence reinforces the message of a brand that speaks to all athletes, beyond categories, abilities, and contexts.

All Conditions Express, traveling from February 5 to 8, 2026, is not just an event, but a concise synthesis of what ACG has always been and what it aims to return to: a bridge between product, territory, and community, where communication doesn’t merely depict untouched nature, but invites you to cross it—quite literally, in all conditions.
