Friday, April 8 marks the release of the Blazer Low x Off-White™️ and University Red.
This latest reinterpretation of a Nike classic by Virgil Abloh brings together a multi-disciplinary aesthetic that is suitable for any activity, sporty or otherwise.
Virgil explored Nike’s archives and found his inspiration in Nike’s classic basketball, skateboard and trail running silhouettes, reinterpreting their shapes and features and putting them in a new light.
The result is a perfect mix between the unmistakable design of the Blazer Low and Abloh’s aesthetic language, between the work of the Nike team and Virgil’s methods. A combination of languages that highlight what happens when unrelated elements are combined in a totally unexpected way.
