Some kids built spaceships, some built castles, and some built sneakers. Now Nike and LEGO are bringing those dreams straight to your feet with a collaboration that couldn’t be any bolder: the new Air Max DN “Tour Yellow” is an explosion of pop nostalgia, futuristic design, and playful irony. In short, these two iconic brands are finally setting the gears of their long-awaited partnership in motion.

The sneaker, designed with younger generations in mind but sure to thrill even the most die-hard kidults, is fully covered in rubber studs that faithfully mimic the texture of LEGO bricks. The dominant color is a bright yellow — the classic shade of LEGO minifigures — while the signature red LEGO logo stands out on the tongue like an artist’s signature.

But it’s more than just a visual tribute: inside the Air unit hides a silhouette inspired by LEGO minifigures, bringing the level of detail full circle from toy to collector’s item. Even the box has been reimagined for the occasion, featuring a foldable compartment to store bricks, turning the packaging into a true display piece.

The Nike Air Max DN x LEGO “Tour Yellow” will be released in August 2025, available exclusively in GS (Grade School) sizes at a retail price of $155. And even if adult sizes aren’t in the plans, it’s hard to imagine this not becoming one of the most talked-about (and coveted) sneakers of the season.
