North Sails and Slowear have introduced Urban Breeze, a tailored outerwear capsule collection for Fall/Winter 2024. This project combines technical expertise with heritage, aiming to redefine outerwear in men’s wardrobes.
In the press release accompanying the launch, the collaboration is described as a fusion of two “brands of memory”—two labels that, by working with high-quality materials, have served generations while adapting to contemporary trends.
The Slowear x North Sails Collection
The first two pieces of the collection—a vest and a jacket—are designed for transitional seasons and are fully reversible. One side is made of recycled nylon, completely waterproof, providing protection and comfort even on rainy days. The other side features soft mélange wool, adding versatility and making it suitable for more formal occasions.
The capsule also includes two pieces ideal for harsher winter weather. The first is a three-layer parka with recycled insulation, crafted with meticulous attention to detail to offer maximum protection against cold, rain, and wind. The second is a bomber jacket enhanced by the Storm System technology: the outer layer is soft, warm wool paired with a polyurethane resin to ensure top protection, while the internal padding provides added warmth and comfort.
