For the Ronen Bekerman’s Cabin 3D Challenge, the Polish architect Bartosz Domiczek and his studio presented Northern Wisps. The objective of the challenge was to create a prefabricated cabin and display it in a location of your choice. The Bartosz project is set in Iceland, near the mountainous ridge of Thórsmörk, a place that passes from rather arid hills to very wooded areas.

Its prefabricated cabins look like huge white monoliths that create a strong contrast with the surrounding environment. A unique structure in a fascinating place.

The only flaw of the Northern Wisps is that it does not exist. Unfortunately, the whole project was digitally realized with the help of computer-generated imagery, CGI, an application in the field of 3D computer graphics. This does not mean however that it cannot make us dream a little.
