As the title Oddly Satisfying announces, Andreas Wannerstedt‘s looping animation series is one of the most satisfying things you can find on the web.
Andreas is an artist and motion designer from Stockholm who fascinates his Instagram followers with very short videos in which simple geometric shapes and balanced compositions with extravagant colors and textures intersect and fit perfectly. The movements of each element are perfectly synchronized.
The final result is hypnotic, you will remain glued to the screen to watch and relate to nice colored polygons that move in loops, balls that roll or segments of cylinders that are cut. Going against the laws of physics, defying gravity and especially reality, the possibilities are potentially endless.
They are digital puzzles with 3D shapes that never stop and that we would never want to stop.
