In this period of time when we’re busy every day making work video calls with bosses and colleagues, choosing which spot in the house to film always puts some anxiety. We have to tidy up and choose carefully whether to frame the bookcase, the furniture or an empty part of the wall, and the backgrounds offered by the various platforms do not help us.
From now on this will no longer be a problem.
Studio Ghibli has finally released some backgrounds for video calls with the most iconic locations of its famous films.
For now, on the official website, you can choose between the streets Chihiro walks through in Spirited Away, the hat shop in Howl’s Moving Castle, Arriety’s bedroom, the blossoming cherry trees in The Tale of Princess Kaguya, a room inside Laputa’s Castle in the Sky, or the tapestry of the opening credits of Nausicaa Valley of the Wind.
And still, you can choose to make a video call from the sea of Ponyo, or in the company of the strange creatures and spirits of the forest of Princess Mononoke.
But that’s not all, if there are eight downloadable backgrounds for the moment, the Ghibli Studio has stated that more will be released in the coming weeks.
And remember that between video calls, you can retrieve all of the Ghibli Studio’s films on Netflix!
