The Paris Fashion Week has come to an end, during which the haute couture brands have presented their collections for the next Spring/Summer 2020 season, but as always, we won’t talk about fashion. Discover the best installations and the best sets that have framed the creations of the designers.
Saint Laurent
Saint Laurent returns to the Trocadero literally illuminating the Parisian night. Dozens of coordinated reflectors placed on the floor have shed light on Anthony Vaccarello’s creations following the models, illuminating the sky as well. To complete the show came the punctual lighting of the Eiffel Tower.Â
Ralph & Russo
The fashion house founded by Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo has chosen for its show the gallery of Le Centorial, a building built in the center of Paris between 1876 and 1883 and has been used for years as the headquarters of Credit Lyonnais Bank. The gallery was dyed in shocking pink and embellished with lights and palms. The beautiful metal and glass dome was also illuminated with pink!Â

Akris
The backdrop to the Akris fashion show is the fashion house’s must have. The models entered the catwalk directly from a huge reproduction of the Ai bag, designed ten years ago by Albert Kriemler.Â

Dior
Not even haute couture can back down when it comes to issues such as climate change and environmental issues. For his fashion show, Dior relied on the expert hands of the team at Coloco, a landscape design studio that created a botanical garden at the Longchamp racecourse.
The 150 trees that set the stage for the show will then be planted in three different areas of the city. In addition, all the materials used to create the bleachers and the structure will be completely reused by the association La Réserve des Arts.
Thom Browne
We move to Versailles, where Thom Browne has created a strange time machine. The set – and the entire collection – manages to unite the period of Marie Antoinette and that of punk. That is, the 80s of two different centuries. The result is a completely white catwalk full of fabric flowers and dominated by a central fountain with a putto, also white.
In such a scenario there are crinolines and huge Louis XVI style wigs.

Issey Miyake
Japanese brand Issey Miyake shocked the whole of Paris with its fashion show that entertained the guests present and became viral on social media.Â
During the fashion show some models entered the catwalk wearing only underwear and then were dressed by a complicated system of pulleys on which were hung the clothes. Each pulley descended exactly over a model, dressing them quickly and easily.Â
Once the whole mechanism had been traced back, the girls began to dance and their clothes created a dreamlike and surreal choreography.Â

Chanel
As always hosted inside the Grand Palais, the beautiful scenery designed by Virginie Viard for this season pays tribute to Paris. The models paraded over a set that reproduced all the typical Parisian roofs, but unfortunately the scene was stolen by Marie Benoliel aka Marie S’Infiltre, a French youtuber who broke onto the catwalk and was then escorted out by none other than Gigi Hadid.
