“Maniac” and “love” are not two words that really agree.
But when you love the love in a maniacal way, another definition couldn’t be more perfect.
Pietro Tenuta, aka @maniacodamore, is a very young illustrator based in Turin, who defines himself as a romantic and nature lover.
Looking at his works, in fact, the elements from which they are characterized belong to these two worlds.
Roses, anatomical hearts and the classic hearts, like those we all draw but more beautiful, climbing flowers, kisses, arrows, naked bodies and gestures of love.
All surrounded by a palette of pastel colors that travel from different shades of pink, celestial and a pure white.
“Cerco di parlare con le immagini, credo che più i nostri sentimenti siano immersi in quello che facciamo e più le persone si sentiranno come a casa guardando il nostro disegno. Sono perennemente con la testa tra le nuvole ma tengo il cuore tra la gente, perché è lì che si nasconde quell’attimo che arriva in punta di piedi, e senza fare rumore, che chiamano ispirazione”.
Pietro told PICAME that, after starting to draw as a child, he completed his studies at Albe Steiner as an advertising graphic designer and managed to achieve, at the age of 23, his recognizable and widely appreciated style.
