Play-Doh reproductions of Magnum great masterpieces by Eleanor Macnair
Eleanor Macnair has reinterpreted some iconic images of the great photographers of Magnum Photos to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the historic agency.
For the 70th anniversary of Magnum Photos, self-taught artist Eleanor Macnair has decided to celebrate the historic photographic agency by creating very original reproductions in Play-Doh of some of the images of the great masters of photography history.
The iconic Magnum photos as Elliott Erwitt’s Empire State Building, Jim Goldberg’s Prize Possession, Thomas Dworzak’s Girl with Balloons, or Martin Parr‘s famous The Last Resort were reinterpreted by the artist in this project titled Photographs Rendered In Play -Doh.
The ultimate goal of the project is to encourage Magnum lovers to relive some great masterpieces and those who do not know the story, discover Magnum for the first time inviting them to browse through his vast archive.
