The first edition of the Public Square festival, promoted by Squareworld Studio, is coming to Bergamo. It will transform the city into a lively artistic stage between 28 and 29 September 2024. This first edition aims to enhance contemporary culture and local production systems, with a horizontal approach that brings public art, business culture and cultural regeneration into dialogue. Among the protagonists of the event is Luca Font, an artist from Bergamo born in 1977, whose work moves between graffiti, painting on wood and canvas, and tattoos. Font will create a mural in Via San Giorgio, completed during the days of the festival, and then present it to the public at a dedicated meeting on 29 September. His style, which blends graphics and visual synthesis, functionality and modernism, reflects a constant search for balance between creation and rationality.

Luca Font’s work, like the entire festival, is part of a dialogue with the territory, aiming to create a space where art and community meet. His work, which stems from a profound reflection on tradition and its relativity, will be an important testimony to urban regeneration and artistic participation.

Not only street art – all the events

Public Square offers a moment of reflection and discussion on the role of culture as an engine of social regeneration. Through the involvement of local and non-local artists, the event aims to lay the foundations for a new form of collaboration between urban and rural areas, promoting a creative dialogue that embraces modernity without forgetting its roots. Let’s discover all the events.
