Founded in 2012 by Prof. Dr. Marjan Colletti, REX|LAB is part of the Experimental Architecture Department at the University of Innsbruck, consistently pushing the boundaries of design through advanced robotics and state-of-the-art material technologies. What makes the Quadrifoglio collection truly unique is its approach, combining additive 3D printing with recyclable materials. The stools are crafted using an eco-friendly biocomposite blend that includes wood, cellulose fibers, and repurposed polymers. The result is a piece of complex design created with a conscious focus on environmental responsibility.


The production process, facilitated by REX|LAB’s industrial robots, allows for the exploration of highly complex geometries and forms that would be impossible to achieve with traditional methods.
