Designed by the ARI atelier, “Reflektor” is a mirror on nature, a sort of pavilion located on the hill of Parc Cabiddu, in Wingles, in the north of France.

Atelier ARI is a design studio based in Rotterdam, founded in 2014 by Joyce de Grauw & Paul van den Berg and being composed of both artists and architects, the works created are halfway between public art installations and architectural works.
The Atelier ARI focuses on an accessible type of design, where experience is as important as production and the visitor becomes an integral part of the work.

The beautiful triangular structure of “Reflektor” is located in an open space, among the unspoiled nature of the French hills, and is characterized by a series of mirrors that reflect the surrounding land and lake.

The exterior of the pavilion is made of a special wood structure. The interior walls and ceiling are made of external plywood and covered with aluminum mirroring sheets.
A “Reflektor” can be accessed from the front or through a small entrance from the pedestrian path at the back as you enter, a conical shape opens up and forms an intimate interior space where you can stay out of the sun.
