“Renaissance of Mother Gaia” is Jacquie Comrie’s new and colourful artwork made in Toronto for ELAD Canada.
An explosion of colors in full Jacquie Comrie style, a distinctive feature of the Canadian street artist.
The artworks commissioned by ELAD Canada aim to redevelop and revitalize the West End area of the city, this is the third public art installation commissioned, the other two were completed by artist Thrush Holmes.

“In the midst of all the loss, chaos this year has brought, life is still being born. Little humans, a new light, consciousness, new ways of thinking. This is a love letter to my son. One last big wall before he arrives and making sure to create a more colourful world for him.”

The artist, in fact, as we can understand from these few words that appeared in her social channels, has created the work despite being pregnant. A crazy effort if you think that the work covers an area of over 1,800 square meters.

An intervention born, as said, to give new life to this neglected part of the city over the years, but above all Jacquie Comrie hopes that her palette of colors will excite the viewer and satisfy mental wellbeing in general.
