Robert Proch‘s works, considered the prodigy of the Polish contemporary art scene, hang in the balance between abstract and figurative art and are deeply inspired by the human experience, ordinary events and all those encounters that shape our personality determining the road of our life.
The paths, within his paintings, are chaotic and characterized by a precarious balance, thanks also to the wide palette of colors that stimulates imagination and desire to understand his complex compositions.

His entire work is driven by emotions, by a direct observation and sentimentally dear to the artist.
He says that every time he found himself working on something he didn’t feel tied to, he lost the impact and feeling of being able to communicate his ideas.
After many years of realistic painting, in fact, he began to reduce the number of objects that take part in each scene, this makes his works open to exploration, although symbolism and illustration are elements that he appreciates and that, in the past, have been part of his artistic career.

For the same reason, when he begins a new painting, he does not use an already existing material, he allows himself to be drawn by the composition, with mental rules but not peremptory.

The entire process, from its inception to the complete work, bought him the title of one of the first artists to have contributed to the creation of that creative field located between fine art and urban art.
