In 2014 the famous American skater Russell Houghten in collaboration with RED Digital Cinema and The Berrics made a documentary called “Urban Isolation“.
The American skater crossed a deserted Los Angeles, without the usual traffic and daily chaos, skated undisturbed through the streets of the famous American city.
Six years ago it was impossible to imagine a completely empty, deserted city, today thanks to the lockdown that we all have to observe, this documentary is back in the limelight.
Properly retired Skateboarding In A Global Pandemic, it looks like a short documentary rather than a work of fiction.
From skyscrapers, bridges and main roads, Russell Houghten seems to have anticipated the future by skateboarding all alone in the beautiful city of Los Angeles.
A short film that has come back into the limelight in the last few days, showing us the American town under a different look, as we had never seen it before.
Here it is, enjoy Los Angeles like you’ve never seen it before!
