Soul of the sea, Eron’s work for migrants

Famous Italian street artist Eron has dedicated to migrants his last amazing work, called Soul of the Sea, where faces of women and children appear evanescent on the side of a rusty wreck. We had left the artist with Tower to the People in Santarcangelo as a work that celebrated peace; once again, the topic dealt with is full of political and social meanings.

The work is located inside Palazzo della Enciclopedia Treccani of Rome, on the occasion of an open to the public conference about writing historicization and street art. The wreck on which the graffiti was made, previously found off the coast of Croatia, was later taken to a site in Rimini to be part of a series of paintings dedicated to the soul and the memory of objects.

The final placement of Soul of the sea will be inside a permanent exhibition space in Rome, which has not yet been revealed.
