Following its collaboration with Converse, Stüssy is again teaming up with Tekla, a Copenhagen-based company founded in 2017 that focuses on the production of products dedicated to comfort within the walls of the home.
Starting with textile fabric, the Danish company creates functional, quality design products with a timeless perspective, beyond the logic of hype, and made to last.
The result of this new collaboration between Stüssy and Tekla is a home-to-beach capsule collection: a series of simple yet sophisticated items designed to be used both at home and at the beach. A pajama set, sheet set, towels and beach towels in two different colors – ultramarine blue and striped white – make up the Stüssy & Tekla collection.
The campaign was shot by Beijing-born and raised in London and New York photographer Sirui Ma. Her work delves into the celebration of multicultural identity in the West and examines themes of presence and representation, as well as exploring the beauty found in everyday banality with the goal of communicating what she sees through images.
The launch of the second signature Stüssy & Tekla collaboration is scheduled for Friday, June 17, and will be available online at stüssy.com, on Tekla’s web store in select Stüssy chapter stores, and at Dover Street Market.
