Marc Jacobs and Dr. Martens team up once again to reinterpret an icon: the Kiki Boot, first unveiled in 2016 on the American designer’s runway and quickly becoming a symbol of aesthetic power. For this new collaboration, the campaign is entrusted to New York-based photographer Olivia Parker, whose direct, gritty gaze immediately defines the tone of the campaign, turning the boot into a living object, charged with the energy that unites the two brands.

The most evident new feature is the heeled Corran sole, a key element of Dr. Martens’ design language, which introduces a more solid, utilitarian dimension to the structure of the Kiki Boot. The variants — Black and Bright Lavender in Buttero leather, or the black crocodile-effect leather version — amplify the model’s bold attitude, balancing precise craftsmanship with a taste that leans into Jacobs’ irreverent pop spirit. Details such as silver buckles, internal zips and lock-and-key charms recall previous collaborations, creating an aesthetic continuity that ties together anniversaries, icons and new interpretations.

Olivia Parker’s contribution is central in giving a visual voice to this evolution. Known for her ability to construct images that oscillate between portrait and document, Parker brings an authentic physicality to the campaign, made of texture, presence and tension. Her raw, modern lens gives the Kiki Boots a more real and visceral dimension, turning them into a natural extension of the values shared by Marc Jacobs and Dr. Martens: individuality, freedom of expression and a constant challenge to convention.
