Louis Vuitton has recently reopened its store in the Ginza district of Tokyo, after a long series of works, the architects Jun Aoki and Peter Marino have given new life to the building occupied by the French fashion house since 1981.

The building has been completely transformed, it has an iridescent facade that, with its ripples, makes the building look like a tall column of water, inspired by the work “Wave blue line” by Kimiko Fujimura.
It will be impossible from now on not to notice the new building that with its bright colors will attract the eyes of passers-by in the busiest shopping district of the Japanese metropolis.

The architects also refreshed and furnished the huge interior of the seven floors with the palettes used by Virgil Abloh and his team in the latest collections.
The result is a majestic and colorful but still elegant building in full Louis Vuitton style.

Inside the new building it will also be possible to find the exclusive “Le Café LV”, where, thanks to the collaboration with chef Yosuke Suga, will be available a series of designer chocolates that, for now, are exclusive only to the Ginza store.
