The first trailer of Destroyer, the latest movie effort by the super dark independent filmmaker Karyn Kusama (especially known for Girlfight), has been released.
The story of Destroyer sees as the protagonist a detective from L.A. named Erin, who struggles to find a balance, after spending some time in a gang of thieves as infiltrated. After the old criminal boss, with whom she had shared so much, returns to his seemingly normal life, Erin will again face her past, hoping to find peace once and for all.

The story may seem banal, the gruff detective who drowns the sorrows of a stormy past in the abuse of alcohol.
But in Destroyer, the driving force is the protagonist herself, or rather, the actress who plays her: Nicole Kidman. In this film, we see her completely transformed. We see her playing a character never interpreted before and the surprising thing is that the role of the detective in Fight with herself seems to be perfect for her. But if you do not believe me, you can already see it from the first images of the trailer.
In addition to the praised Kidman, the cast will also feature Toby Kebbel and Tatiana Maslany.
For now, the expected release date is the 25th of December 2018, but only in the United States.
