Transient Sculptures, Neal Grundy temporary sculptures

Neal Grundy is a photographer London-based specialize in product photography and freeze motion.
During his 12 years of experience he has worked with brands such as adidas, sneakers magazine, Harris + Hoole and he has also enjoyed countless personal projects.

One of these is Transient Sculptures, a collection of sculptures photographed in “mid-flight”.
The truth of the project, however, is all in its name.
His sculptures are real, but only for a short fraction of time.
They seem solid but they are nothing more than fabrics or other materials thrown into the air that take particular shapes, roll up on themselves and stay suspended for a few moments.

The first version of the project was realized in the studio but everything was very static, so, to create a greater sense of harmony, they were recreated in real environments.
A very detailed work that finds poetry in its forms.
