According to latest reports, Nic Pizzolato, writer, creator and executive producer would be at work on the third season of True Detective, the crime series that in a few years become a cult.

The first season premiered on January 12, 2014 on HBO, the second one only in 2015 but was much criticized making it difficult to hope for a third.

Today, however, thanks to the latest rumors outputs on The Entertainment Weekly, it seems that the third season will take place thanks to the help of David Milch, one of the point man of the US cable channel, and the return of Matthew McConaughey in the role of Rust Cohle.
