After being nominated for an Oscar in 2018, the animation collective Illogic founded its own production company, Bloom Pictures, and with its latest short film entitled “Maestro” shows that not only Disney knows how to make animation and music communicate perfectly.
The idea for Maestro comes from a simple question: what do animals do when the man is not there? The answer given by Illogic’s creatives was: “they sing!”
So, under the direction of a nice squirrel, frogs, turtles, and other animals come together to sing “Guerra, guerra!”, the famous piece of Norma by Vincenzo Bellini.
Even if you love opera, you’ve never seen it before.
