After seeing Graham Parkes‘s latest production The Voice in Your Head, your conception of reality will suddenly be shattered.
This short movie tells the story of Dan, a resigned and numbed by life’s man who one day discovers that what he believed to be only his inner voice, is actually a man in the flesh who haunts him day and night. This accompanies him at every moment of the day, he highlights his insecurities and totally influence his existence.
When Dan realizes that what happens to him is not only the result of his imagination, he will be able to take care of the situation. But is it so easy to let go of our thoughts?
Written by Graham Parkes and produced by Brendan Garret, this crazy comedy shows the difficulties behind mental illness and tells the co-dependence relationship between psychological disease and loneliness. Uncomfortable and debilitating, mental disorders are difficult to accept and, even if harmful, it is often easier to remain dependent on than to get rid of them.
