The street artist TvBoy landed in Sicily tonight and left his mark with new works in the heart of the historic center of Catania.

A return to Sicily for the artist, just a few months ago he was in Palermo with a beautiful artwork dedicated to the magistrate Giovanni Falcone.
Now he is back, but on the opposite side, in the heart of baroque Catania, in the famous fish market “A piscaria”, with an artwork dedicated to the saint and mistress of the city Sant’Agata.

“The feast of St. Agatha is among the first three religious holidays in the world: a celebration of enormous historical and artistic value, which we hope will soon be consecrated to UNESCO heritage.
This is my homage to a beautiful city and to the Patroness of my two lands, Sicily and Spain.”

The feast of St. Agatha is the most important religious feast of the city of Catania. It is one of the most popular Catholic religious festivals, precisely because of the number of people it involves and attracts.
It takes place every year from 3 to 5 February, 12 February and 17 August. The festivity of February is linked to the martyrdom of the saint from Catania, while the dates in August remind us of the return to Catania of her remains.

TvBoy also did not leave out any details, the Saint, in addition to having placed the logo of Calcio Catania at the height of her heart, holds in her hand one of the typical sweets of the festival “le cassatelle di sant’Agata” commonly called “minnuzzi ri sant’Àjta“.
