On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of one of the most beloved characters of the Japanese manga scene, Doraemon, conceived, written and designed by Fujiko F. Fujio, UNIQLO has dedicated a capsule collection to the robot cat, for Fall/Winter 2020, celebrating Doraemon and Japan, the birthplace of both. In addition, all the new items in the collection will be packaged in a themed box, another gift for fans of manga and cartoons.

The successful cartoon and manga series follows the adventures of the very young Nobita, who, with the help of Doraemon, tries to change his future and become a better person by using the robot cat’s ability to travel through time.

To best celebrate a beloved character also here in Italy, a feature film directed by Takashi Yamazaki and Ryūichi Yagi, Stand by Me Doraemon 2, a sequel to the 2004 film Doraemon – The Film, is ready.

Below you can take a look at the trailer of Stand by Me Doraemon 2 and the capsule collection of UNIQLO dedicated to him.
