Art The LEGO Ducati by Riccardo Zangelmi

The LEGO Ducati by Riccardo Zangelmi

The last time we talked about Riccardo Zangelmi, the first and only Italian LEGO® Certified Professional, was about 4 months ago, on the occasion of his sculpture of colored bricks made for Milano Fashion Week and exhibited in Piazza San Babila in Milan.

Today we come back to talk about it because with his latest creation, Riccardo has surpassed himself leaving us literally speechless.

Riccardo Zangelmi has gone from fashion to engines, taking more than 400 hours of work to create a LEGO version of the Ducati Panigale V4. Starting from a real and original Ducati, the LEGO artist replaced hulls, panels and covers with their brick reproductions. For this special project, 15,000 LEGO Technic bricks were used instead of the normal LEGO Systemic.

Obviously, the most surprising aspect of this work is that technically the bike can really be ridden.

Who knows what Riccardo Zangelmi’s next project will be, so don’t miss it on Instagram
