“From Budapest with love”. Today for our seventieth vinilica we fly to the capital of Hungary, to join us on this journey are the Belau, a promising electronic music duo.
A duo formed by Peter Kedves and Krisztian Buzas, have played in over 23 countries, in the line-up of major festivals such as Eurosonic, Primavera Sound, Sziget, SXSW.
On October 2nd was released their new single, “Risk it all” (Night version) ft. AMAHLA, which is part of the new album “Colourwave”.
An album where Belau follow a path of self-awareness mixing sounds recorded in nature with modern beats.
The intent is to be guided by the sounds discovered in nature, continuing the concept contained in the title, to set to music the imagery full of colors of the Caribbean lands, thanks to the involvement of talented female voices.
The Hungarian duo of Belau offers a rather colorful and warm electronics, and it is no coincidence that their second official album is titled “Colourwave”. Even if the summer is just over, imagine being by the sea at sunset accompanied by your trusted cocktail. You probably don’t know it yet, but it’s a perfect time to immerse yourself in the fairytale world of Belau listening to their fresh music.
A 12-piece album accompanied by many feats, which we are sure will never make you bored. We leave it below, together with a short description written by the Hungarian duo.
Enjoy listening!
“We chose the songs of our new album called Colourwave, which is a more thoughtful release, that keeps providing shelter for the modern human through music, where listeners can sink to themselves and their thoughts. Colouwave is a multi-layered concept release that on the basis is trying to represent a path to self-awareness by using the sounds of the nature mixed up with precise and modern beats. It also hardly relies on the messages and instructions of the nature that surrounds us – especially the sea – and on the top of that Belau continued the geographical concept that this time reflects musically and visually to the thousand colours of the Caribbean area featuring many international female talents. The LP includes a lot of chilled beats, exotic instruments, 808 subs, and some self-collected organic tunes.“
