Born in 1987, Yann Kebbi is a Parisian artist and illustrator known for his immediate style and his ability to adapt and create with different techniques, from simple pencil drawing to photography, from prints to wood engravings. With his latest series of illustrations made in six months of hard work, Yann seems to realize any artist’s dream of creating a personal museum.
With as many as 20 plates full of details, the French illustrator takes us on a discovery of the Fondation Kebbi, a museum that not only houses paintings, statues and works of art but also serves as a backdrop to the stories of every single visitor. Everything seems possible in the Fondation Kebbi and Yann knows it well, so among the large rooms captured from different perspectives, there are those who admire the works, but also those who read a book, those who take a nap, those who prepare a barbecue, those who run wild disguised as superheroes, those who are killed and those who wander the corridors dressed as ghosts.

Each illustration tells dozens and dozens of stories that we follow passionately, dwelling on each board as long as necessary to discover all the details and all the characters, and then turn the page and find them in the next one and the one after that.
Yan Kebbi’s museum is the only one where the real works to be admired are the visitors and the statues, paintings, frescoes admire with us what surrounds them.
