It came directly from France, the world’s first floating hotel eco suite. It is called Anthénea and is powered by solar panels, manages wastewater ecologically and is equipped with a modern home automation system capable of minimizing energy consumption.
Designed by naval architect Jean-Michel Ducancelle, the hotel suite is inspired by the underwater car in the 1977 James Bond film “The Spy Who Loved Me”.
Opening a window on the underwater world, Anthénea offers a magical living space and invites you to experience timeless moments in perfect harmony with nature.
Anthénea can be considered a luxurious yet sustainable version of maritime tourism. A dream place projected into the future, with an area of about 50 square meters, able to move on water and above all unsinkable.
The particular shape of the floating loft recalls the design of a capsule covered by a dome. Inside, three living spaces can be distinguished: a daytime area with a bar and a living room, furnished with furniture and sofas, from where you can enjoy a view of the seabed thanks to the glass floor; a sleeping area with a circular bed and bathtub, and finally, a relaxation area at the top of the dome, reachable thanks to a staircase, which houses a solarium equipped with sofas that can accommodate up to twelve people.
