From October 26th Manchester will be transformed into an innovative art gallery that will take you on a colorful and inspiring journey through the streets of the city.

The 50 Windows of Creativity arrives, a new artistic journey celebrating Manchester’s rich creative culture, with mosaics, installations, works of art, photography, crafts and murals by local artists and designers.

“We are living in unusual times and the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic have reached every corner of the world. As restrictions are easing and as we move towards a more normal way of living, we want to create a new type of art trail for Manchester to help people to feel part of the city again. We hope that 50 Windows of Creativity will help to support Manchester’s creative community during this uncertain time, bring people back into the city centre, build trust and confidence and give people a reason to enjoy art and enjoy creativity.“

Not yet announced all the artists who will take part, but it is definitely an event not to be missed.
Among the many will be the founders of Classic Football Shirts who will present the mosaicist Mark Kennedy’s replica of the 20/21 jersey of Manchester City Football Club, whose design was inspired by his work, and the urban landscapes of Sarah Connell of Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford.

The project culminates with a selection of pieces being auctioned with the proceeds going to their artists and to The Lord Mayor of Manchester Charity Appeal Trust – We Love MCR Charity which supports disadvantaged communities and individuals.

Until December 5th, closing day, with 50 Windows of Creativity we will have the chance to enjoy a different Manchester from the last few years, but alive and full of color.
