All for the Gram – Andronigram

Milan is grey. Perhaps this is the most common cliché about the Lombard capital. It may even seem true at first glance. But the reality is different and is kept like a precious secret behind the millions of solid wooden doors that rarely open to tourists and passers-by.
Fortunately, there is someone who, almost by stealth, feeds and satisfies our curiosity. We are talking about Andronigram, the serial profile dedicated to the entrances of Milan’s buildings, magical places where grey leaves room for marble floors with blue, green and red veins and multicoloured glass windows.

If Andronigram’s photos manage to catch your eye and make you want to go in search of these places, our advice is to take a few hours and wander aimlessly through the streets of the centre and hope to find as many open doors as possible.

You don’t need to go inside, just admire them from the outside, sometimes they look their best from across the street.
