Let’s abandon the friendly tone of this column for a second to focus on an Instagram profile whose beauty can somewhat satiate the desire to travel and be fascinated by other cities and faraway places. The profile we recommend in this edition of All for the Gram is Toits de Paris. 

As you can guess from the name, the profile is entirely dedicated to the roofs of Paris. A symbol of the city, anyone who has been to the French capital at least once has certainly sat on the steps of the Sacré-Coeur staircase and admired the sea of anthracite grey roofs topped by small chimneys. 

In contrast to other profiles, which are fuelled by photos sent in by followers, Toits de Paris is Parisian photographer Paul Second‘s second account and all the shots are taken by him.
Some capture the city in its entirety from above, while others focus on small details, such as a couple toasting on a rooftop or the interiors of houses glimpsed through windows.
