The Netflix library is becoming more and more varied from day to day and it is very easy to miss out on the real goodies. That’s why we’re here. In this article, we will see what will be the five Netflix releases to see in November.

The Kominsky Method: Series created by the comic genius Chuck Lorre (we are speaking of the writer that gave birth to Big Bang Theory or Two and a Half Men) for the red entertainment giant. This time the protagonist is a senior actor, Micheal Kominsky, played no less than by Michael Douglas, who after a short successful career becomes an acting teacher in Hollywood. The well-known face of the protagonist will be joined by Alan Arkin, Sarah Baker, and Nancy Travis. The series, although it was thought about two years ago, will be available on November 16th and we are looking forward.

Baby: an all-Italian production (the second after Suburra) decidedly unconventional that has its roots in the much-discussed episode of the baby hookers. The protagonists of the series are two Roman teenagers Ludovica and Chiara who, tired of the boring routine, turned into escorts, thanks to the help of Saverio, the owner of a Night Club (interpreted by an incredible Paolo Calabresi). Through the lives of the protagonists, their friends and schoolmates we will have a 360-degree overview of the “adolescent society”, but despite this, Baby is able to differentiate from the now inflated Teen Drama. The series, in fact, manages to be raw, brutal but above all mature, thanks to a thoughtful and current script, developed by Antonio Le Fosse, Eleonora Trucchi, Marco Raspanti, Giacomo Mazzariol, and King Salvador. The direction will be taken care of Andrea De Sica. Baby’s release is scheduled for the end of the month, more precisely on November 30th.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs: The highly anticipated film by acclaimed Cohen brothers who won the Osella Award for Best Screenplay at the Venice Film Festival. The film is set in the wild west and is composed of 6 different chapters, taken from short stories written by the couple over a 25-year career. A work therefore certainly solid and well thought out, which initially was to be a miniseries but which later became a 2 hour and 15 movie. As if this were not enough and as often happens in Cohen’s films, the cast is stellar. In fact, we will see the likes of Tim Blake Nelson, Liam Neeson, James Franco, Zoe Kazan, Tyne Daly and the musician Tom Waits. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs’release is scheduled for November 16th.

The Other Side of the Wind: It’s now time to talk of one of the masters of cinema: Orson Welles. The other side of the wind is, in fact, the last unfinished film, given birth to the mind of the American filmmaker just before he died. In fact, at the time of his death in 1985, the assembly was just sketchy. His friend Peter Bogdanovich (chosen by Welles himself) takes the situation into his own hands and after many production ups and downs, the film finally comes to an end and is screened out of competition at the last edition of the Venice Film Festival. Subsequently, the distribution is purchased by Netflix. The film is considered Welles’equivalent of Fellini’s 8 1/2 of, as it relates about an experienced director at the end of his career that is about to make his latest film: low cost and full of nudes. The release on the platform is set for November 2nd.

Super Drags: We have new releases for all tastes. Now it’s time to talk about one of the most irreverent animated series ever made. But it is irreverent not because it is particularly vulgar or improper (although we can not call it innocent anyway), but because it breaks so many of those taboos that it becomes a cult even before its release. It is about 3 young gay men who turn into flying and powerful drag queens at night, ready to assault the criminals by the fury of sparkles and high heels. The episodes of this curious Brazilian series will appear on Netflix on November 12th.
