Brain Dead unveiled its new collaboration with a very 00’s aesthetic, with skating brand THEM SKATES.
The brand founded by Kyle Ng has always focused heavily on collaborations, see the latest project in partnership with ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov and the joint venture climbing with The North Face, and a certain attention to the world of normcore and imagery at the turn of the 90s and early 2000s.
The partnership with the Santa Ana, California-based brand is a tribute to skating and roller blades through a capsule collection and a pair of skates, obviously in-line, built with blue and white marbled uppers contrasted with charcoal gray caged black collars and navy blue locking straps. The white wheels, inside a dark blue well cage, feature Brain Dead branding.
As for the capsule – each garment of the collaboration is marked by the co-branding – the offer is quite wide in which we find a jacket in green, a brown crewneck with a stripe on the chest and the Brain Dead brand on the chest (in full 00’s style), a pink crewneck and a purple hoodie.
The collaborative collection between Brain Dead and THEM SKATES will be released tomorrow, August 31 on the Brain Dead website.
