On Wednesday, June 18th, in the midst of the buzz of Pitti Uomo, Florence’s Ex Teatro dell’Oriuolo hosted the presentation of INTERGALACTIC, a site-specific installation born from the collaboration between C2C Festival and IED Firenze. More than a simple academic exercise, this project turned out to be a true experiment in collective creation, capable of blending design, sound, and visual thinking into a single expressive trajectory.

Conceived by an international team of students, INTERGALACTIC is the result of three months of work and mentorship under the guidance of Bill Kouligas — artist, designer, and the mind behind the PAN label — who supported the project through all its phases. The result? An immersive, layered, and vibrant environment that reflects the multidisciplinary spirit of C2C Festival and its ongoing investment in emerging creative generations.

The installation came to life right within the context of Pitti Uomo, expanding the dialogue between fashion, sound, and visual art in a more experimental and sensitive direction. The materials, spaces, and sounds selected by the collective became tools of exploration, generating an experience that speaks of the future but also of community, shared visions, and horizontal processes.

With INTERGALACTIC, C2C Festival reaffirms its mission once again: not just a platform for avant-garde music, but a cultural ecosystem that connects schools, artists, and territories, offering space and tools to imagine what does not yet exist.
