After the Ziggy’s bar dedicated to David Bowie and the Breadway Barkey that seems to have come out of a Wes Anderson movie, now it’s getting very popular the Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 in Seoul.

The place is unique and makes customers feel like they’re in a cartoon. The design is inspired by the Korean TV series W – Two World, in which the characters live between the real world and a fantastic world webtoon.

Entering Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 is like living in a 2D optical illusion.

Everything, the furniture, the doors, the walls, and the floors, but also the cups and the cutlery are completely plastered in white, while the edges of everything are outlined by simple black lines. A real world in two dimensions.

At a time when social networks are the masters, even a simple coffee must be perfectly instagrammable.
